Camping at Burlingame in Charleston, Rhode Island was nice and quiet. It’s a large campground with approximately 800 sites and water access. Our children enjoyed activities such as skateboarding and biking on their paved roads, kayaking and swimming. We relaxed at Misquamicut Beach which is an ocean beach just a short drive from the campground. They had bath houses but not exactly near every camp site, so you had to be happy with a port-a-potty. They have a small store and game room as well for any small items that you may have forgotten.
This is a dog-friendly campground but bring your papers. For more information go to:
