Adventure Review
In June, 2009 we camped at the North Park KOA in Walden, Colorado. The weather was warm during the day, but pretty chilly at night. The campsite was a primitive site, however, there is a community kitchen at the main lodge. The sites were very well maintained, and private. We were at the back of the campground, close to the road to Colorado State Forest and we still didn’t have a lot of noise. The bathrooms are probably the cleanest I have ever encountered at a campground, and some hotels for that matter!! Our kids were 8 and 5 at the time and had a lot to do. There’s a great playground and they rode their bikes a lot around the campground. They have cabins as well that you can rent that are really nice as well.
