Adventure Review
Last November, my husband and myself took our pop-up camper and drove down to Panama City, Florida. We decided to stay at one of the state parks, named St. Andrews. There are several sites that allow you to be right on the water, having a wonderful view of the bay. Some sites are more secluded than others, several have palm trees for shading. Each site had a fire ring, picnic table and clothes line. The down fall to staying at this particular park was all the sand at your camp site. The park had 1 mile of beach access within the park and a pier that you could fish off of. There were a modern restrooms, nothing spectacular-your normal looking camping restrooms. They did have a washer and dryer on site so you could do your laundry before you head back home. We have a couple of dogs that went with us on our trip, but I would not say that this particular park is pet friendly. We only had one particular area that we could walk them to for a restroom break and it had a lot of stickey things in the grass that got stuck in their paws. Overall, I would highly recommend this park to anyone for a great camping experience-we really enjoyed ourselves.
