Adventure Review
It had been a number of years since I had the opportunity to do a scuba dive. I signed up with Bonsai Dive Shop in Key West. As in many tourist locations, Key West is definitely a place where you get what you pay for! Peter is worth every cent because his service is so much above other dive companies. Peter, a retired military man, has a keen sense of weather, wind, and tide patterns of the keys to ensure he finds the best conditions for diving. He also has great tours of the reefs and wrecks which he personally guides. These include a briefing of the wrecks and then penetrations appropriate for every level of diver. After diving with other companies in Key West, I will now only go with Bonsai.
I had a great refresher dive. After Peter felt I was comfortable again we went on a wreck dive(82 foot dive). The wreck had been in the water since the 80s and was filled with all kinds of new life which Peter enjoyed pointing out. I had my first opportunity to pet a moray eel….ugh are they slimy. I also managed to get into some fire coral which left me with a painful rash on my hand for a week and half.

Except for the fire coral event sounds like you had a great time. You have got me interested in another dive trip. Hopefully this one will be without emergency room visits.
