Adventure Review
One of my favorite destinations is Shiloh Ranch Hunting Camp in Stonewall, Oklahoma. The owners Matt & Cheryl Napper run a hog hunting and exotic ram hunting camp. The hogs are live trapped around local ranches and farms and relocated onto the property. In addition, sows are constantly having litters on the property and these wild hogs just add to the population.
I prefer to hunt them with bow. I’ve killed hogs at the stand sites as well as spot-and-stalk. Both offer some exciting action. If you’ve never hunted wild hogs before, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. Inexpensive and the meat is awesome!
The full story can be read in either of my books, Class Dismissed; I’m Going Hunting, or, We’re Gonna Need More Arrows!
Cheers!
