Adventure Review

I took a trip down to Del Rio Texas with Brent Bohbrink to bowhunt Texas Javelina.  We flew down to San Antonio and then rented a car to drive to the ranch.  Rob has a great lease and soon we were hunting Javelina.  The way we hunted them was pretty easy.  We would walk the senderos looking for Javies as they came out of the thick brush to feed along the trails and senderos.  At night we went to a local hotel and ate at local restaurants.  I was fortunate to take 2 Javies with my compound.  Brent took 1 with his compound.  After Brent killed his, the rest of the band came back with teeth popping.  One made the mistake of walking within 10 yards of me while I had an arrow on the rest.

I would do this hunt again with Rob Keibler as the guide.  If anybody is looking for a great Javie hunt in Texas, Rob is the man.  Anybody wanna go?
