Adventure Review
While most folks think about heading toward the beach and exotics places, I headed down to southern Oklahoma to reload my freezer with some fresh wild pork. I was fortunate to catch in invitation from a buddy of mine who had booked the camp with some fellow archers from Colorado. I picked a stand opposite from where theyse guys wanted to hunt. I had only been on the stand an hour or so when 2 boars came in from the east. I was facing south. Both hogs were about the same size and I decided the first one to give me a broadside shot was going to be taking a dirt nap. I watched the hogs for almost 20 minutes before adding just enough pressure on the trigger release to send a Beman carbon arrow with a Magnus Stinger 125 grain broadhead passed completely through the hog. Amazingly, the hog only made it 10 yards before he stopped. Check out the video. This hunt was done at Shiloh Ranch Hunting Camp in Stonewall, OK.
