Adventure Review

On our honeymoon we had a choice of about 8 different adventures.  We were scheduled for the 4 hour jeep tour, but it was cancelled at the last minute.  So, we chose to go on the ATV adventure and get a look at the island up close and personal.  Here are the good and the bad from the trip in bullet form:

The Good:

• Fun to ride in a foreign coutry
• Gave us a getaway to a remote beach on the Island
• Got to see more of  St. Lucia and its habitat
• Beautiful view at the top of the hill by the beach
• The private beach was beautiful and we had lunch there

The Bad:

• Expensive for the Xperience.  $140 per adult.
• The route for the trip was short and we ended up spending 30 minutes of the adventure runnning a half mile circle by the beach.
• The ATVs did not have 4wd and we got stuck in a very small mud hole.
• ATVs were old and quite run down.  They ran well, but the suspensions were shot and the engines ran really hot since they were air cooled motors.

I would not do this adventure again given the price for the Xperience.  The difficulty level was low and any adult could navigate the route.
