Adventure Review

We took a group of 10 people to Ice Skate at the Steven C. West Arena in Breckenridge, Colorado on Christmas Eve.  The ice was not crowded with people which we appreciated.  The admission price and skate rental for all of us was $90.  We skated the 4:30-6:15pm time frame.  You can choose to wear figure skates or hockey skates.  We thought that was a bargain for this experience.  The facility has indoor and outdoor skating arenas.

They have a schedule online and at the front desk for the entire month so that you can pick a time to attend public skating.  There are times for indoor and outdoor skating.  We chose to skate indoors.  The facility is nice and new.  Or maybe it is just well kept?  Either way it is a nice place. We were happy with the friendly and helpful staff. We saw them assist people on the ice who were having trouble.  They were playing various Christmas music which added a nice touch to our Christmas Eve family skating experience.  Our kids enjoyed this experience so much that they have asked to make ice skating an annual Christmas Eve tradition.  For more information about skating here go to:
